Our Journey

When we founded Kai Early Years in 2019, our goal was simple but ambitious: to create a preschool that would set a new standard for early childhood education in India. In a country where early years programs often operate without regulation, we committed to building a model that not only delivered exceptional learning experiences, but also offered trust, transparency, and global credibility.

That commitment led us to pursue authorization with the International Baccalaureate (IB) – a globally recognized, rigorous accreditation process known for its emphasis on concept-based learning, inquiry, wellbeing, and lifelong learning. Kai Early Years became India’s first standalone IB-authorized early years school in 2020, completing its five year re-evaluation in 2025, and continues to meet the highest international benchmarks of quality and care.

From year one, Kai Early Years has received recognition as the #1 preschool in multiple categories, year after year. But beyond the awards, our campus has become a place of influence and inspiration—welcoming visitors from across India and around the world, including educators, researchers, leaders, and policymakers. Our purpose was never just to serve children. It was to make a bold statement: early childhood matters, and it deserves our best.

This belief led to the creation of the Kai Community Center, located adjacent to our 2-acre campus. Designed to support the whole family, it offers everything from a café and co-working space to pediatric specialists and a gym. When parents are healthy and have resources around them, children can thrive. 

Today, our journey continues with the launch of Kai CIRCLE the Center for Innovation, Research, Collaboration, Leadership, and Empowerment. Building on the foundation of Kai Early Years, Kai CIRCLE expands our impact by empowering the many hands that shape a child’s world through professional learning, coaching, research, community experiences, and more.

We began with a single flagship school. But our vision has always been bigger: to transform global childhood development by empowering those who shape a child’s world.

In July 2025, Kai CIRCLE was proud to be authorised as a Cambridge PDQ Centre.
