“Attending the ‘Unlock the Power of Daily Classroom Moments’ course was an exceptionally enriching experience. The course offered a refined and research-informed lens through which to view the classroom as a dynamic, responsive space, enabling me to recognise and intentionally shape everyday moments into meaningful learning opportunities.

The academic leadership of Associate Professors Jeanne Marie Iorio and Catherine Hamm was outstanding. Their insights into responsive, inclusive, and culturally attuned pedagogy added both depth and clarity, strengthening my ability to read the classroom, respond in real time, and foster curiosity and connection among learners.

Thoughtfully structured and highly engaging, this short course has had a lasting impact on my professional practice. I am deeply grateful to Kai Circle and The University of Melbourne for this intellectually rigorous and generously designed learning experience, and I would strongly recommend it to educators across contexts and curricula.”

“As a teacher of Commercial Studies for Classes 9 and 10 under the CISCE board, the ‘Unlock the Power of Daily Classroom Moments’ course has added immense value to my work by deepening my understanding of global business dynamics and ethical practices. I’ve been able to integrate real-world case studies and interactive tools into my lessons, making abstract concepts like entrepreneurship and other organisations more engaging and relevant for my students, ultimately boosting their exam preparation and critical thinking skills.”

“A heartfelt thank you to Kai CIRCLE for this amazing opportunity to deepen my understanding of how powerful ordinary classroom moments truly are. The course ‘Unlocking the power of the daily classroom moments’ has helped me look at everyday interactions with a more reflective, intentional, and child-centred lens.

I’m also extremely grateful to our wonderful facilitators, Jeanne Marie Iorio and Catherine Hamm, for designing such a smooth, meaningful flow throughout the course. Their guidance, insights, and warmth made the entire learning journey enriching.

One of the best parts of this experience was the opportunity to collaborate with fellow educators sharing stories, reflecting together, and learning from diverse classroom contexts. It reminded me that growth happens both in the big workshops and in the small, everyday exchanges we have with children and colleagues.

Feeling inspired to bring these insights into my classroom and to continue unlocking the power of those everyday teaching moments!”

“Some of the most meaningful learning moments in a classroom are the quiet, everyday ones.

Recently completed “Unlocking the Power of Daily Classroom Moments” by The University of Melbourne made me pause and reflect on how much of teaching really lives in small interactions – a question asked at the right time, a conversation after class, or simply noticing what a student needs that day.

This felt especially relevant to Global Perspectives, where listening, dialogue, and reflection often shape learning just as much as content does. What resonated with me most was how these approaches align with developing Global Perspective skills which involves encouraging students to think critically, consider multiple viewpoints, and make informed decisions in a connected world. It’s a reminder that even our daily classroom practices can nurture the skills students need to thrive as thoughtful, globally-aware learners. Thankful to Prof. Catherine Hamm and Prof. Jeanne Marie Iorio for the careful facilitation of the course and for the perspectives that encouraged reflection on everyday classroom practice.

Grateful to Kai CIRCLE for encouraging ongoing reflection and learning.”

“The ‘Unlock the Power of Daily Classroom Moments’ certificate course by University of Melbourne in collaboration with Kai CIRCLE, has helped me to understand the importance of the ordinary moments in the classroom. I have become more observant about the different types of actions the students perform in the classroom which encourages me to develop newer ideas and frame innovative lesson plans for them.”
